Work-life balance is a much-discussed topic. Employees should work for the betterment as the company as well as their family.it is important as a company to understand how to key balance is to creating engaged and happy workers.

Every people have their own life.  Also, they need money to live. Balancing life at work and life outside of work is not easy. People perform better at task when they are able to balance work and life. A healthy work life balance is a state a person has reached a sustainable work life balance, they can experience various positive effects such as, reduces stress, reduced burnout, heightened sense of well being.

 

Work or career plays a significant part in all our lives.it is very important to have a job for every people. During pandemic period in most of the people had to work at home. This method became very good opportunity for some people. But some, this is not an opportunity to stay home or spend time with their family. Because, we are growing day by day and more connected through technology and social media.so working from home has become the new normal.it is difficult to separate work from our personal lives.it is just like we are in office and have to check emails at all time, take and answer the business calls. normally it is a holiday on weekends but in this case had to work on weekends also. Can you consider this as a fair situation to the employee?

                                                


           

 

Employer expects more from the employees, that they want to achieve their goals somehow.it is not good to pressure the people too much. Every people need better balance in their lives. As a manager you have responsibility to help all your employees to have some time with their loved ones and of course to have a personal life.

it is very important for health of the people and have a good relationship with the employees. Not only that it is highly effected and improve your employee’s productivity and ultimate performance. An unbalance life may be course to stress, tiredness, getting angry and likewise so many negative things can happen. If employee think that there is no enough time to complete all the work when there is no work-life balance in their company. its highly effect to the self-performance of the employee. They cannot concentrate well with their work. Further, it is very important to have good medical coverage for all the employees.

 

 

 

                                                         

 

 Strategies for achieving work-life balance

Achieving work life balance is paramount for overall well being and happiness.by prioritizing self-care, setting boundaries, and cultivating meaningful connections, individuals can create a lifestyle that promotes physical, mental, and emotional health. While challenges may arise, adopting proactive strategies and embracing a holistic approach to life can empower individuals to live more fulfilling and harmonious lives.

Practicing mindfulness and stress reduction methods- such as meditation, yoga, exercises, can help to reduce stress of mind. These practices perform good progress in mind.

Schedule some time - Schedule some time to spend with their family and friends after work. Try to make quality time then they can have really happy with their loved once they can do their job with stress less mind.

Take short breaksthe negative effect can happen when sitting long period in same way. Allow short breaks while they working to have little walk.

 

 



 What management can do – 

as a management, there a few things to do for employees for work-life balance. If a person doesn’t have a time to relax and free, their ability to do their job go down and their performance level suffers. As a management, it is important to encourage a person to take time off or break from work instead of putting in long hours. And arrange to take turns taking vacations for the employees. Creating schedule that allows a person to do activities they enjoy will help them to be better with other employees, friends and family members. Grant them a leave when they ask for it. They asking a leave only when they need it. So do not ignore their request. If you do so, they feel disappointed about their job and of course with the management. It is not good for the company. If you need more profit, sales, and running well company remember employee’s mental situation is most important. Give them rest and give them freedom of mind. If you do that, you can get a good output from any employee.

                             

 Conclution

Finding a good work-life balance is essential for general well being and efficiency. We can lead more fulfilled lives if we strike a balance between our personal needs and interests and our professional obligations. It's about prioritizing work, establishing boundaries, and scheduling self-care time. We may flourish in both our personal and professional lives when we lead balanced lives, which increases our happiness and success in all spheres of life.
